Child
Support Enforcement
We
are working to improve this Kansas CSE Website. Check
back
to this page now and then, to see what new information
and features we have added.
The
Kansas Child Support Enforcement (CSE) program helps families
with children by:
- Enforcing
child support orders;
- Locating
absent parents and their property;
- Getting
an order of paternity, if the father needs to be identified
legally;
- Getting
an order for cash child support, if needed;
- Getting
and enforcing an order for health insurance coverage
for a child, if needed; and
- Watching
to make sure support payments come in regularly.

EMPLOYERS
play an important part in the support process. Employers:
- Report
their new employees to the Kansas New Hires Directory;
- Set
up a payroll deduction for support when an Income Withholding
Order (IWO) is received;
- Send
support payments to the Kansas Payment Center, along
with the correct identifying information; and
- Enroll
children for health insurance coverage when a National
Medical Support Notice (NMSN) or medical withholding
order is received.
