Canadian Water Resources Association

CWRA Promoting Effective Water Management

Who we are...

Welcome to the Canadian Water Resources Association. From it’s beginning as the Western Canada Reclamation Association to the energetic organization that exists today, the common connection continues to be the importance of water to Canadians.

CWRA is recognized for its capacity to facilitate discussion among water users and water resource professionals. Members want to share their knowledge and learn more about water management in Canada. The perspective can be from the private and public sectors in hydrology, irrigation and drainage, biology to climate change and education. CWRA also has an active Student and Young Professionals section and is developing the opportunity to engage Skilled Newcomers.

CWRA activities are delivered through branch organizations in most provinces and members are present throughout Canada and beyond.
