The NPRL currently has 12 scientists representing 10 diverse disciplines: Agricultural Engineer, Research Agronomist, Plant Physiologist, Chemist, Microbiologist, Biochemist, Geneticist, Agronomist, Mycologist, and an Agricultural Economist. To fill any of these positions, you would need a doctorate in the field.
Our scientists are supported by a diverse staff comprised of: Agricultural Engineers, Chemist, Computer Support, Engineering Technicians, Biological Science Technicians, Agricultural Science Research Technicians, Farm Manager, Mechanical Engineering Technician, Computer Specialist, Biological Science Aide, Secretary, and maintenance staff personnel. Education requirements vary from a high school diploma to at least a bachelor's degree.
During the summer months, we usually hire a number of students to help with various research projects.
