The Grants Streamlining Initiative is a government-wide project to improve the effectiveness of Federal Financial Assistance. The Grants Policy Committee (GPC) is charged with the development of policy recommendations to the Office of Management and Budget oversight of government-wide grants policy initiatives.

The Patient Safety Act establishes a voluntary reporting system designed to enhance the data available to assess and resolve patient safety and health care quality issues.
- Cash Management Improvement Act (CMIA) (US Treasury)
The Cash Management Improvement Act provides the general rules and procedures for the efficient transfer of Federal financial assistance between the Federal Government and the States (including the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Territories of American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and the Virgin Islands).

The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) is the codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the executive departments and agencies of the Federal Government. It is divided into 50 titles that represent broad areas subject to Federal regulation. Each volume of the CFR is updated once each calendar year and is issued on a quarterly basis.
