E-Gov Initiatives and Lines of Business

The U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB), together with federal agencies has identified 24 E-Government (E-Gov) Initiatives in order to advance the implementation of IT innovation. HHS serves as the managing partner for one initiative, Grants.gov.

OMB has also formed nine Line of Business task forces in order to analyze agency enterprise architecture data to identify ways in which services commonly found in numerous agencies can be provided in a more efficient manner.

HHS is the managing partner for 3 E-Gov Initiatives/Lines of Business:

• E-Gov Grants.gov Initiative (U.S. Office of Management and Budget)
• Federal Health Architecture (FHA)
• E-Gov Grants Management Line of Business (U.S. Office of Management and Budget)
