Reports

CMS produced a report for each cycle of the PERM program, beginning with the original demonstration projects. The Medicaid and CHIP error rate pilots began in 2002 as Payment Accuracy Measurement (PAM), and continued through 2004. In 2005 the program was renamed PERM and one last pilot year was conducted.

PERM results are reported in the Department of Health and Human Services' annual Performance and Accountability Report (PAR) or its equivalent. This page contains the hyperlink that connects to the most current report.
