NWRFC: RSS Feed

River forecasts, Water Supply, and Hydrologic Watch and Warnings of the Pacific Northwest are available through the Northwest River Forecast Center RSS Service. Through this feed, users can get immediate notification of content change or product availability.

What is RSS?

RSS means Real Simple Syndication. This is a service performed using XML. Site information and content is formated in a headline or simple description form for quick distribution across networks. AS changes are made at the source web site, small headlines, descriptions and links to actual products are produced and added to a channel on the web site. Users and sites which subscribe to this service then monitor a selected channel for updates. The advantage of RSS is the user does not need to continully access the web site to find if a product has changed. This also reduces the amount of content which is required to be down loaded.
