American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA): TEN 30-08 is an overview of the Employment and Training Administration's implementation strategy for Workforce Investment Act and Wagner-Peyser funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and includes a reporting timeline of late spring, 2009.
Reporting and Data Validation Timelines:
September 25, 2008: TEGL 14-00, Change 2 To provide additional guidance to the States about the WIA Annual Report Narrative and update procedures for submission of the report to the Employment and Training Administration (ETA)
September 3, 2008: TEN 9-08 To remind the workforce investment system of the performance reporting requirements and associated timelines for submitting data validation results for the WIA Title 1B Programs and the Wagner-Peyser Program including Veterans, National Farmworker Jobs Program and the Trade Act programs.

"WISPR (Workforce Investment Streamlined Performance Reporting) System is Suspended for PY 2009." WISPR implementation has been suspended for Program Year (PY) 2009 because of the challenge posed by the significant role the workforce investment system will play in the President’s economic recovery plan. ETA’s top priority will be working with our partners and stakeholders to meet the information and reporting needs associated with implementation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
