Highlights

  • On February 5, 2007, the President's FY 2008 budget request was submitted to Congress. ETA's request for FY 2008 totals $9.29 billion.
  • On December 30, 2005, the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2006, P. L. 109-149, was signed into law. See FY 2006 Budget for details on ETA's funding.

Quarterly State WIA Spending Summaries

Conference Report 107-148 accompanying P.L. 107-20 required the Department to submit to the House and Senate Committees on Appropriations an expenditure data report on each of the three Workforce Investment Act block grants for each quarter beginning with the data from the end of program year 2000 and continuing through program year 2001. Quarterly summaries have continued since then.
