Subject: Jacquard Pathscale compilers to be updated on 3/29/07

The default version of the Pathscale compilers on Jacquard will be upgraded from version 2.4 to 3.0 on Thursday, 3/29/07. This release includes fixes to several NERSC reported problems. This new version is currently on Jacquard in the path/3.0 module and can be used now by loading the path/3.0 module: module load path/3.0 If you experience any problems with this compiler or if the performance of any application deteriorates when recompiled with this version, please report this with details to consult@nersc.gov.
