Recovery Act: Wisconsin Directs that All Job Openings be Posted on State Job Bank
Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle has announced an
executive order regarding the posting of jobs on Wisconsin's state job bank.
Any Wisconsin employer receiving funds from the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), is required to list job openings on www.JobCenterofWisconsin.com, the Internet site operated by the Department of Workforce Development (DWD). The order further directs all state agencies to include the job posting requirement in all ARRA funded contracts awarded to contractors and subcontractors employing workers in the state.
