Brief Bio

Dr. Hinshaw has 15 years of experience in CMB satellite data analysis with the COBE-DMR and WMAP missions. He has been a lead author or co-author on all of the significant COBE-DMR and WMAP anisotropy publications. Dr. Hinshaw presently serves as Data Analysis Lead for NASA's Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe, and also serves as director of the Legacy Archive for Microwave Background Data Analysis (LAMBDA) which serves CMB data to the scientific community. Earlier this year he won Goddard’s Space Science Achievement Award for his work on WMAP.
