| Greetings,
Building on last year's SciDAC tutorials day, the 2009 meeting offers a
day of tutorials on SciDAC-supported research. The tutorials span a wide
range of subjects in scientific computing and focus on bringing the
benefits of DOE's investment in SciDAC to new researchers in academia
and industry. This is a great venue to learn how to parallelize your
current computational efforts, to improve your code by implementing the
latest computing algorithms and methods, or to learn about the latest
HPC tools through hands on practice.
A full list of topics and abstracts is now available on the registration
site, where you can also find a report from last year's tutorials and a
2009 flier.

Registration is free. Transportation to and from the main SciDAC meeting
site will be provided to presenters and attendees. A limited number of
travel stipends are available for students needing assistance in their
travel to the tutorials. Travel from locations near the tutorials site
(SDSC) is preferred. To inquire about a travel stipend or if you have
other questions, please contact deskinner@lbl.gov.
