Welcome to the Serious and Violent Offender Reentry Initiative (SVORI) Multi-site Evaluation website. This site provides detailed information regarding the evaluation activities associated with the Serious and Violent Offender Reentry Initiative. RTI International and the Urban Institute are conducting the comprehensive implementation, impact, and economic evaluations.

What's New:
March 20, 2009: On March 11, 2009 Drs. Pamela K. Lattimore and Christy A. Visher testified about the Serious and Violent Offender Reentry Initiative before the United States House Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies. Their prepared remarks are available from the subcommittee's website and the full transcript will be available in the near future.
November 11, 2008: Presentation available from the 2008 American Society of Criminology (ASC) Conference: Prisoner Reentry Policy & Practice: Lessons from the SVORI Multi-site Evaluation.
October 21, 2008: Presentation available from the 2008 Addiction Health Services Research (AHSR) Conference: Impact of Prisoner Reentry Programs on AOD Treatments & Outcomes.
