Audit of HealthNow New York, Inc.'s, Medicare Part B Final Administrative Cost Proposals for Fiscal Years 2005 Through 2007

Executive Summary

HealthNow New York, Inc.'s (HealthNow), reported expenditures in its fiscal years 2005 through 2007 Final Administrative Cost Proposals substantially complied with Federal Acquisition Regulations and the Medicare contract provisions. HealthNow claimed approximately $57.06 million in administrative costs for fiscal years 2005 through 2007, including $936,000 of pension costs that we did not review because they will be the subject of a separate audit. However, HealthNow claimed approximately $49,000 in unallowable costs.
