President Bush holds Job Training Forum at Maryland Community College

Arnold, MD, March 2 - Today President Bush visited Anne Arundel Community College to highlight his proposals to double the number of workers trained and provide increased flexibility to the governors to train people for the jobs of the 21st century and better utilize community colleges.

President Bush announces Job Training Reform Proposal

Washington, DC, February 7 - A major job training reform proposal was announced today in conjunction with the release of President Bush's 2006 budget proposal. The reform proposal grants Governors greater flexibility over job training funds, including the option to consolidate up to nine programs into a single state grant, in exchange for greater accountability and a target goal of 100% employment.
