Assistance to Our Automotive Workers: Department Provides Updated Summary of Electronic and Telephone Tools; Introduces Portal with Links to Vital Resources in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio
The Department of Labor has electronic and telephone tools that can assist automotive worker in their efforts to find jobs, training, education, and support services in their communities. This webpage -- Recovery for Auto Communities -- describes those tools and summarizes additional resources available to workforce professionals and other intermediaries who can assist autoworkers with their transition.

CareerOneStop's new Auto Worker ReEmployment portal provides quick access to vital resources in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan for laid-off auto workers. The site provides links to unemployment, job search, retraining, and other information. This Auto Worker ReEmployment site is a part of CareerOneStop's Worker ReEmployment Portal.
