Recovery Act: ETA and EBSA Provide Information on COBRA Premium Reduction and Extended Eligibility Provisions; TEN 42-08 Provides Resources Available to Assist Dislocated Workers and Businesses
The Employment and Training Administration has issued Training and Employment Notice 42-08.
As developed by the Employee Benefits Security Administration, the purpose of TEN 42-08 is to:
- increase awareness of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA) provisions in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009,
- inform states and local areas about resources available to assist dislocated workers, businesses, and partners in understanding the new law.
