The purpose of this notice is to announce a technical assistance telephone conference call for RFA-MD-08-002 NCMHD Research Infrastructure in Minority Institutions (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-MD-08-002.html).

Date: Wednesday, May 7, 2008, 2:00-3:30 PM (EST)

Description: The Division of Extramural Activities and Scientific Programs at NCMHD will conduct a technical assistance and information-sharing telephone conference call. This conference call will allow potential applicants to discuss and clarify any issues or questions related to the new Funding Opportunity Announcement for the NCMHD Research Infrastructure in Minority Institutions (RIMI)  which was released on April 8, 2008 (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-MD-08-002.html). Potential applicants interested in participating in the telephone conference call are required to complete a registration form and to submit their questions in writing to the e-mail address listed below in advance of the meeting. The phone lines will remain open until either all questions have been answered or until the end of the scheduled 1.5 hour period. NCMHD program, review and grants management staff will participate in providing responses to the written questions and those questions expected to arise during the discussion. NCMHD program staff will continue to provide technical assistance on an as needed basis after the conference call. Applicants needing additional technical assistance should contact Dr. DeLoris L. Hunter, the RIMI Program Director.

Registration is required and participants must register prior to COB on May 2, 2008.
