Subject:	gseaborg: Loadleveler Reconfiguration March 1, 2001

This Thursday, March 1, Loadleveler reconfiguration will take place on gseaborg on a per node basis. Commencing at 8am, as nodes become free, they will be reconfigured and subsequently returned to the compute pool. Reconfiguration of all nodes will be completed by 4pm. During this time, gseaborg will remain up and in production. This process should have little or no impact on users although some large jobs may experience start-up delays. This reconfiguration is necessary to resolve problems whereby jobs hang in starting or ending state and should also help improve the startup time for Loadleveler jobs.
