| Dear NERSC Users,
Thank you to those of you who have already replied to my email!
I would like to make a correction:
The NUGEX positions are actually for a 3-year term, although
there is not limit on the number of terms that you can serve.
I also have received several questions about what it means to
be on the NUGEX. The best way to find out is to look at
the charter, which can be found at:
http://www.nersc.gov/about/NUG/charter.php

Greetings NERSC Users,
As the year 2004 ended, the 2 year terms of several positions on
the NERSC Users' Group Executive committee (NUGEX) have concluded.
There are 7 open positions and we are currently soliciting
nominations for this exciting opportunity.
We need representatives for the following categories:
- 1 for Biological and Environmental Research (BER)
- 1 for Fusion Energy Science (FES)
- 2 for High Energy Physics (HENP)
- 3 for member at large
Please send your nominations to ethier@pppl.gov by February 1, 2005.
