Hi all:
Sorry if I'm "spamming" you twice but I thought it would be worth it if NERSC
can
find a new home for our Cray systems.
At this point, NERSC will be decommissioning and surplussing (per DOE
guidelines) all of our Cray systems after September 30, 2002. It's SAD but
true. NERSC has had Cray systems for close to twenty five years.
In any case, we have a T3E-900 with 696 PEs, (256 MB/PE), which is housed in
three
liquid cooled frames. It also comes with a few TB of Gigaring based disk.
NERSC also has 3 SV-1's (J90SE frames) with 68 - 300 MHz CPU's. Each system
has 8 GB of memory and a couple TB of Gigaring based disks. We also have a
J90SE with 32 CPU's.
Anyone who knows of a US site interested in any of the above systems should
have them contact me directly, either by E-mail or by phone.
Cheers,
Jim
