WHO WE HELP

Electronic Field Trip

The EFT, or Electronic Field Trip, is an interactive, live, educational experience, produced in partnership with Ball State University and the National Park Foundation.

The EFT enhances learning through a dynamic website, podcasts, classroom activities, discussion forum, and live broadcast from two of our National Parks each year. This program breaks down the geographic barrier between the student and our national treasures and creates a shared classroom experience with park rangers, fellow students, and classrooms across the country.

Over the past four years, more than 36 million viewers watched the electronic field trip series broadcasting live from Grand Canyon National Park, Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Independence National Historic Site, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Manzanar National Historic Site, and Grand Teton National Park.
