Using Metro's Customer Information Phone System

After dialing Metro's Customer Information system 206-553-3000 you will hear a lead message (usually 30 - 60 seconds) providing answers to commonly asked questions. Listening to this message may keep you from waiting in queue.

At any time you may press 'Zero' ('0') to transfer to the Customer Information call center; however, if the queue is full (during Customer Information's regular hours of operation), callers who press '0' will hear a busy signal and will have to re-dial.

After the lead message, or at any time during it, the following options are always available by pressing the corresponding key on the phone:

1

Next or current Bus Time:
the next scheduled departure times of buses at bus stops

2

Future Bus Time:
the scheduled departure times of buses at bus stops later in the day or on a different day

3

Metro and Sound Transit services and transit service for events

4

Direct transfers to Customer Assistance and Lost & Found (when they are open)

*

Repeat the last heard message

If you press '0' in the system at a time when Rider Information is closed, you will hear a message that states "Customer Information is currently closed," and restates the hours that Customer Information is open. At this point you may also listen to the lead message again or choose other options from the main menu, including Bus Time (options one and two) and Services and Events (option three.)
