Subject:	Large Scale Jobs Reimbursement Program extended

Greetings NERSC Project Managers, NERSC is pleased to announce that another 2 million MPP hours have been made available to the Large Scale Jobs Reimbursement Program. The 4 million made available in April have already been used to reimburse large scale jobs. Projects may request up to 300,000 MPP hours to reimburse jobs running on 64 or more nodes, or 1,024 or more processors (this amount is in addition to any amounts previously reimbursed). Projects have to submit a brief report stating the science results achieved with these large runs before reimbursement will occur. It would also be of great interest to comment on the relative merits of running your codes on different numbers of nodes. If you have not previously "enrolled" in this Reimbursement Program and wish to participate please send an email to consult@nersc.gov stating your interest. At the end of June I will request science reports from projects with jobs run on 64 or more nodes in June.
