Announcing NERSC User Training ============================== Software Porting and Development Tools on the SP Majdi Baddourah User Services Group May 23, 2002 9:00 - 10:30 AM, Pacific Time Abstract -------- There are a number of tools installed on the NERSC SP system that can be helpful in porting or developing codes for that system. Among them are: Totalview, a debugger; ZeroFault, a memory analyzer; the HPM suite, for operation counting; and the Vampir suite, for MPI communications analysis. We will survey these tools and explain how to begin using them, with examples. ================================================================ This lecture may be presented more than once. The first presentation will be via the Access Grid and an ESNet Audio Conference. A subsequent presentation will be via ESNET Video and Audio Conferencing, if demand exists. Local attendees are welcome, but seating is limited.
