Subject:	[account-managers] 2010 INCITE Call for Proposals

Dear NERSC PIs and account managers, The INCITE program invites proposals for large-scale, computationally intensive research projects to run at the DOE leadership computing facilities at Oak Ridge and Argonne. Please note that starting in 2010 INCITE awards will no longer be made at NERSC. The deadline to apply is 1:59 pm EDT on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 and the call for proposals is at: http://hpc.science.doe.gov/ NERSC allocation requests for the 2010 allocation year will open August 11 and close September 23. Also for 2010 there will be a new DOE allocations program, the ASCR Leadership Computing Challenge (ALCC) program. This program has an emphasis on high-risk, high-payoff simulations in areas directly related to the Department�s energy mission, for national emergencies, or for broadening the community of researchers capable of using leadership computing resources. The call for proposals will be issued annually for single year proposals on October 1st.
