Dear Franklin users, There are now new versions of PGI, xt-mpt, xt-libsci, and FFTW installed on Franklin. 1) pgi/8.0.3, pgi/8.0.4, and xt-mpt/3.1.2 have been installed. The current default versions are pgi/8.0.1 and xt-mpt/3.1.0. To use the new versions: % module swap pgi pgi/8.0.4 % module swap xt-mpt xt-mpt/3.1.2 To see available versions: % module avail pgi % module avail xt-mpt If no problems are reported, the new versions of pgi/8.0.4 and xt-mpt/3.1.2 will be set to default on next Thursday, April 16. 2) xt-libsci/10.3.3 has been installed. The current default version is xt-libsci/10.2.1. To use the new version: % module swap xt-libsci xt-libsci/10.3.3 To see available versions: % module avail xt-libsci The new version of xt-libsci/10.3.3 is not loading fftw/3.1.1 automatically any more as in xt-libsci/10.3.0 and xt-libsci/10.3.1. If no problems are reported, the new versions of xt-libsci/10.3.3 will be set to default on next Thursday, April 16. 3) fftw/3.2.0 has been installed. The current default version is fftw/2.1.5.1. To use the new version: % module load fftw/3.2.0 To see available versions: % module avail fftw Since most users use fftw/2.1.5.1 version, the new version of fftw/3.2.0 will not be set to default. Best Regards, Helen He NERSC User Services _______________________________________________ franklin-users mailing list franklin-users@nersc.gov
