Certification Process
The AESWebLink Certification process is designed to certify the ability of the third party browser application to interface correctly and efficiently with AESWebLink.
To complete the certification process the third party application and supplier should:
- Nominate a technical contact person for the test and the on-going maintenance of the interface.
- Confirm that all coded items passed to AESWebLink conform to the requirements of AES.
- Provide AESDirect staff with temporary access to a test version of the third party application to:
- Confirm and demonstrate that the AESWebLink Logo and introductory commentary are installed and activated within their application as required.
- Confirm that no data that is incompatible to AES will be transferred.
- Successfully generate a series of EEI transmissions into AESWebLink with the following characteristics:
- An unsuccessful login to AESDirect.
- An interface session that passes a partial transmission to AESWebLink that results in a successful submission to AES.
- An interface session that passes a Full (All information captured by the third party application) transmission to AESWebLink that results in a successful submission to AES.
AESDirect Staff will provide written feedback and comment to the third party application owner in order to correct any problems found.
