Subject: Seaborg jobs to be boosted at 768+ processors
Author: Francesca Verdier <fverdier_at_lbl.gov>
Date: 2006-01-17 12:16:44
Dear Seaborg users, Effective next Tuesday, January 24, regular priority jobs running on 768+ processors (48+ nodes) will continue to receive a scheduling boost. Regular priority jobs running on 32-47 nodes will no longer be boosted; they will have the same scheduling priority as 1-31 node jobs. A reminder that regular priority jobs running on 48+ nodes receive a 25% discount. NERSC encourages users to scale their codes to effectively run on 48+ nodes. If you need assistance, please contact the consultants at consult@nersc.gov. Sincerely, -- Francesca Verdier email: fverdier@lbl.gov Associate Manager, NERSC Services phone: 510-486-7193
