Greetings, Here is an update on a few compiler related developments on seaborg. * GNU compilers: gcc 3.2.1 to become default version. The existing 2.95.2 version will be replaced next week. http://hpcf.nersc.gov/software/tools/GNU.html#gcc * Multiple xlf compilers: xlf 7.1, an older version of IBM's xlf, has been made available on an as-is basis through an xlf module. This compiler supports totalview debugging and allows users to examine compilation issues specific to particular versions of the compiler. * Totalview 6.0 will become the default.
