Subject:	NCAR Community Climate Model (CCM3) available on Seaborg

Dear SP Users, NCAR Community Climate Model (CCM3), version CCM3.6.6, is now available on seaborg.nersc.gov (NERSC IBM SP3). This version incorporates new code that enables efficient execution in hybrid OpenMP/MPI mode on clustered machines such as IBM SP3. For further information on CCM3.6.6 release for IBM see: http://www.cgd.ucar.edu/cms/ccm3/news/ccm3.6.6_forIBM.shtml NERSC will maintain and support this version of CCM3 model source codes so that NERSC users can easily and effectively run CCM3 at NERSC. However, individual investigator at NERSC can access and copy this version for personal modification and manipulation without affecting others.
