First quarter 2009 participant statements — Your first quarter TSP participant statement, which covers the period from January 1 through March 31, 2009, is now available on this Web site. To receive e-mail updates whenever new participant statements are added to the TSP Web site, you can sign up at "Get E-mail Updates" on the Home page.
No required minimum distributions for 2009 — For 2009 only, new tax law suspends required minimum distributions for separated participants age 70½ or older. If this affects you, you should have received an explanatory letter from the TSP.
