AESDirect System Upgrade - AESDirect Archive Service
AESDirect has been enhanced to provide users with a separate archive for shipments that are over a year old. These shipments will be moved periodically from the AESDirect Production server to the AESDirect Archive server. You will notice a new section on the AESDirect main menu that provides you with access to the archived shipments.
Section Heading: AESDirect Archive Service
Option 1: Retrieve Archived Shipment - This option will take you to a screen that is identical to the Retrieve Shipment function that you use now. From here you can Retrieve, View, and Print your shipment. Again, Edit and Submit will not be available.
Option 2: Archived Shipment Reporting - This option will take you to a screen that is identical to the Shipment Status and Reporting that you use now. From here, you can create a report to View and Print shipments, if you wish. Edit and Submit will not be available, however.
Please note that either option will require you to input your username and password again. This is necessary to log you on to the archive server.
