Public Information Open House A public information open house was held Monday, February 23, 2009 to provide comment on planning for the reuse and restoration of federal property formally occupied by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Mines. (Open house materials.)
The meeting opened a 30 day comment period which ends March 25, 2009. While comments were received at the open house, additional comments are welcome by e-mail, fax (651-290-3214), or by mail either letter or comment card and mailing to:

The Preferred Alternative and Planning Process The Mississippi National River and Recreation Area has issued a letter describing the preferred alternative and announcing the process in which interested parties can become involved in its planning and implementation.
