Purple Prairie Clover
Purple Prairie Clover (Dalea purpurea)

Description: This attractive plant grows many stems from a single base and produces purple flowers. It likes dry to mesic conditions and grows to a height of 1 to 3 feet.

Planting: Sow unstratified seed in the fall and stratified seed in the spring. One-year old transplants can also be used. It will flower in its second year.
