Refrigerant Reclamation
Reclamation is the re-processing and upgrading of a recovered controlled substance through such mechanisms as filtering, drying, distillation and chemical treatment in order to restore the substance to a specified standard of performance. To be properly reclaimed, used refrigerant must be reprocessed to at least the purity level specified in Appendix A to 40 CFR Part 82, Subpart F (based on ARI Standard 700, "Specifications for Fluorocarbon and Other Refrigerants").
