Joint Services 2008 Winter Safety Campaign

The Joint Services Winter Safety Campaign goals are: to share lessons learned and best practices between services; focus on targeted mishap prevention areas; continue education on specific hazards and provide tools to assist the Department of Defense community in risk management decisions.

The Combat Readiness/Safety Center, Naval Safety Center and Air Force Safety Center teamed up to provide servicemembers, civilian personnel and Families with resources to help them stay safe on the road, in the home and during cold weather activities. Incorporate composite risk management into all plans activities and please remember to celebrate safely.

The Cold Weather Web page is a one-stop-shop for cold weather risk management, injury prevention training and winter season resources.	Safe for the Holidays contains tips on travel and traffic safety, food preparation, decorations and toy hazards.	Winter Safety Campaign The Naval Safety Center's video provides resources to keep Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines safe all winter long.	Winter Safety Video produced by Division West, featuring CSM Young and MAJ Harbin.
