Economics and Performance Modeling
APTB is active in the development, refinement, and maintenance of economic and
performance evaluation models which provide Agency-wide support for estimating
costs for air pollution prevention and control strategies. APTB is part of a
larger, broad-based National Risk Management Research Laboratory (NRMRL)
Environmental Engineering Economics Program structured to be a preeminent place
where environmental scientists and decision makers come for objective, authoritative
information on the cost-effectiveness of environmental technologies and risk
management methods.
