Comment on Cooperative Purchasing

GSA is currently accepting written comments on a proposed rule related to cooperative purchasing.  Sec 211 of the E-Government Act of 2002 [Pub. L. 107-347] provides for state and local governments to acquire information technology from GSA's Federal Supply Schedule Program.  IT items available include automated data processing equipment (including firmware), software, supplies, support equipment, and services. 

Written comments should be directed to the Regulatory Secretariat at 1800 F Street, NW, Room 4035, Attn: Laurie Duarte, Washington, DC 20405. Submit electronic comments via e-mail to: GSARcase.2002-G505@gsa.gov. Comments must be received no later than March 24, 2003. Comments received will be considered in the formulation of a final rule, which will establish an effective date for the start of the program.
