GSA Honors 18 Projects at Design Awards Ceremony

GSA honored 18 projects for excellence during its Design Awards ceremony at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center on March 29.The list of award and citation winners includes U.S. Courthouses in Fresno, CA, and Cleveland, OH; Land Port of Entries in Murrieta, CA, and Blaine, WA; and the new Oklahoma City Federal Building.

The event marks the second decade of Design Excellence and GSA's commitment to be a leader in providing quality, high-performance, sustainable facilities.  GSA is providing customer agencies with inspiring, productive workplaces.  GSA promotes sustainable design strategies in new and existing building – giving new life through preservation and modernization programs, recycling materials and incorporating energy-saving systems. 


The GSA Design Awards, hosted by PBS Commissioner David Winstead, is a biennial program in its 17th year.  It recognizes outstanding achievements resulting from partnerships between the federal government and private firms and individuals across the country.
