The operation of off-road motor vehicles, also known as All Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s) or Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs), is prohibited within Great Basin National Park, including on or along paved roadways.
This prohibition also applies to vehicles that meet the definition of off-road motor vehicles that are licensed for on-road or highway use by a state government. “Off-road motor vehicle” is defined by Executive Order Number 11644 (37 Federal Register 2887.)
