Abstract: (CIT): On behalf of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and the NIH Work Life Center, we are pleased to announce that Daniel Pine, M.D., who heads the intramural Section on Development and Affective Neuroscience, in the NIMH Mood & Anxiety Disorders Program, will present this year's NIH Anxiety Disorders Research Lecture "Heeding Anxiety's Call" After opening remarks by Thomas Insel, M.D., NIMH Director, Dr. Pine will discuss what is known (and not yet known) about anxiety disorders, including what scientists have learned about the medical consequences of not getting appropriate treatment.
