New Online/Traveling Exhibit from the National Library of Medicine:
Harry Potter's World: Renaissance Science, Magic, and Medicine
This new exhibition explores the plants, animals, and magic featured in the Harry Potter book series and their roots in Renaissance traditions that played an important role in the development of Western science. It incorporates the works of several 15th and 16th century thinkers mentioned in the Harry Potter books. The website includes middle/high school lesson plans, and a higher education module for professors and students.
The NN/LM's goal is to enhance access to health information for health professionals and the public.
