Philip E. Higuera et al. have used the lake-sediment records from the south-central Brooks Range, Alaska, USA, to examine direct and indirect impacts of climate change on fire regimes over the past 15 000 years. They report their findings in the May 2009 issue of Ecological Monographs. » more
