(a) Coverage of an individual under Sec. 890.1203(b) terminates 60 months or 12 months after hostage status ended unless the individual cancels the coverage earlier. (b) Enrollees and family members are eligible for temporary extension of coverage for conversion as set forth in subpart D of this part unless the covering enrollment is terminated by cancellation.
