SHUTTLE LAUNCH CLOSURE INFORMATION

Merritt Island NWR is subject to closure to the public one to three days prior to and the day of a shuttle launch at the following entry points:  State Road 406 just east of the Max Brewer Causeway from Titusville, and on State Road 3 approximately 1 mile south of Haulover Canal.  The Refuge closes at these same locations the night before a scheduled shuttle landing day at the Kennedy Space Center.
