FAQ
DOCLINE -- OCLC to SERHOLD

Question: Why is OCLC to SERHOLD Batch Update no longer offered?
Answer:

In December 2005, OCLC generated the final Serials Union List Online Product, known as SULOP. NLM used the SULOP to process all OCLC to SERHOLD batch update requests. As a result of OCLC's changes, OCLC to SERHOLD batch update is no longer available.

In the eighteen months that OCLC to SERHOLD batch update was available, only two libraries used OCLC to SERHOLD batch update. Because of the lack of use and the other items on the DOCLINE development schedule, NLM does not currently have plans to make the extensive modifications necessary to accommodate OCLC's changes.
