What is a Mentoring Visit?

Making a strong point during a mentoring visit

A Mentoring Visit is an on-site program conducted by two members of the Mentoring Team. The goal of these visits is to help refuge staff and community partners build a solid foundation for developing a working relationship. Site visits normally take place over one to two days and include customized consultation on how to establish a nonprofit partner for the refuge and how to sustain this new organization. The main theme for every visit is establishing lines of communication and relationship development.
