Veterans Employment Coordination Service (VECS)

Severely Injured Veterans Employment Initiative

There are nine (9) Regional Veterans Employment Coordinators (RVEC) located throughout the U.S. working closely with a network of local veterans employment coordinators (VEC) on behalf of severely injured veterans and all veterans.  RVECs serve as employment case managers for severely injured veterans, assisting in identifying VA career opportunities, crafting competitive applications, maneuvering the Federal hiring process, and evaluating traditional and non-traditional work accommodations.  Locally designated VECs positioned at every Human Resources Office VA-wide stand ready to assist any veteran seeking employment in VA.
